Join us for the 87th anniversary of the "Free Beer!" party hosted by Jacob Lockman, owner of Crescent Brewery, on April 17th, 1934! On December 5th, 1933, the 21st Amendment was ratified by Congress, repealing the nationwide prohibition on alcohol. To celebrate the return of beer, Jacob Lockman, owner of the Crescent Brewery located at 1st St N and 9th Ave N, threw a huge party! In 2021, we celebrate the 87th anniversary of that event, along with the advent of spring ad the return of good times! Your ticket purchase includes a catered meal by H & M Meats (options of sausage or chicken), a drink ticket from Crescent Brewery, and an entry into our raffle for (TBD). Additional drinks can be purchased on site. Enter our cornhole tournament and prove that your aim really does get better after drinking! There are 8 teams available so make sure only you or your cornhole partner clicks on the free add-on with your ticket purchase. Winners get fame, glory, and a prize! Inside the museum will be a detailed exhibit of the April 17, 1934 event along with self-guided tours of the Nampa Train Depot, steam crane, and caboose. Enjoy a fun afternoon of history, food, and drink as we celebrate the end of Prohibition just like they did in 1934!
